Farm to Closet - Healing the Earth

Our farm to closet program brings 100% regeneratively-grown organic cotton into your wardrobe. This ancient method of farming is increasing the biodiversity of the land, while farmers and artisans have found financial independence as they preserve and revive ancestral traditions.

This seed-to-sew program involves investing in cotton that was organically grown, harvested, ginned, spun, and naturally dyed, in partnership with Oshadi Collective in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India.

Sheena also works closely with Oshadi’s skilled weavers on custom handloom fabrics- truly an exquisite, dying art. The regenerative cotton yarn is handwoven on a floor loom by a team of experienced weavers in nearby Chennimalai, Tamil Nadu, India.

All of abacaxi’s designs are made in limited editions, with many loving hands; these garments are truly designed to cherish.
